A very high reproduction DAK tunic 1st pattern. I built this tunic off an original I have.
Back story: I recently came into possession of several reproduction tunics ranging from Africa to M44s. As an avid collector of original tunics, I felt the need to turn some of these reproduction tunics into copies of originals I have or owned in the past. I built this tunic off an original I have. This tunic is designed to be a true non Farb style tunic, no fancy medals, ribbon bars or ridicules attachments. As you can see a very true style of tunic showing a recon 2nd Lieutenant with proper insignia. The shoulder boards are sewn into the tunic just as you would on the originals. Cuff title is on the right sleeve since its meant to be a ‘in theater” tunic. everything you see on the tunic is included. This tunic is meant to be a display piece or if you’re part of a living history group it would display nicely and be true to what officers actually wore in the Africa campaign.
Size: The tunic itself is a 42R. It fits me perfectly just a little short in the arms as I normally would wear a 44R. The pants are around a 32-34 and length would probably be 34. I wear a 32/34 normally so these fit perfect and the trousers come with built in belt. The cap is probably a 58 as I wear a size 60. It fits snug on me.
Depending on how this one sells, I might do the same with the rest. Buying this set saves you time and money as its ready to go for your next event!
