An extremely rare Order of Saint Andrew. This ribbon is rarely ever seen, and I was lucky enough to receive this ribbon from the original manufacture.
Ribbon will come in 6” lengths.
The Order was established in 1698 by Tsar Peter the Great, in honor of Saint Andrew, the first apostle of Jesus and patron saint of Russia.
It was abolished fallowing the Russian Revolution of 1917.
The order was officially re-instated as the highest civilian and military award by presidential decree on June 1, 1998.
